Read: Psalm 79, Micah 4:1-5, Revelation 15:1-8
Reflect:
Do you notice that these scriptures form a progression?
First, the psalm laments the state of Israel as being beaten down.
Then, Micah tells of a time when all will be at peace because God has taken charge.
Lastly, in Revelation, we see the wrath of God on those who rejected Him but his comfort to those who followed Him.
As we approach Christmas, let’s remember this progression. Israel was confused when Jesus was born as he wasn’t the King they were expecting. However, as a servant, he has come to deliver us all.
The time is coming, friends, when Jesus will come back to the world and set things right. Are you for Jesus or against Jesus? Have you made that decision?

Discuss: How do we act like Jesus and help spread his love and peace? Are we ready for Jesus to return?
Pray: Lord, we ask that you show us how to be in the world but not of the world. We ask that you make us the people you designed us to be and we ask that you show us how to live in victory for you every day until our Lord and Savior returns. In Jesus’ precious name. Amen
