Bellevue Movies in the Park: The Sandlot
Bellevue outdoor movie nights are back! Join SPIRIT 105.3, grab a blanket, a lawn chair, family, friends, neighbors or co-workers, and head to Bellevue Downtown Park to enjoy FREE outdoor movies and popcorn this summer. There are pre-movie activities planned before each movie, so come down early, stake your ground, and have some fun.
Movies begin at dusk (betwen 8:45pm and 9:30pm) and are shown under the stars on a huge, 40-foot inflatable screen with a state-of-the-art projection and sound system. Movies are free, family-friendly and carry a PG or G rating.
Movie Synopsis for The Sandlot: In the summer of 1962, a new kid in town is taken under the wing of a young baseball prodigy and his rowdy team, resulting in many adventures.
The series also features eight non-profit agencies, one per week. We invite you to participate by donating to the many programs and services each agency provides our community-in-need. This weeks non-profit is Jubilee Reach. If you feel led to donate, they are in need of: new or slightly used Women's clothing, new or slightly used Men's clothing, housewares.
