Esa shares with Mark what listeners appreciate and love about KCIS. We invite you to partner with us in sustaining this powerful ministry that continues to uplift hearts and strengthen faith throughout our community.
Mark:
Still got Esa in studio, getting back to the Friday Hymn Sing, here in moments. And again, you talk to so many listeners, and this is a real favorite feature of KCIS. Who plays hymns anymore? Well, KCIS does with our Friday Hymn Sing and also on Sundays. What’s a common theme that you hear from people, Esa?
Esa:
Well, one of the themes Mark, is there’s really no station like KCIS. And so, the community of listeners really has a heart for sustaining the ministry and they know its significance to them personally, but then also to our community. And really the legacy of faith that has been established but then wanting it to go into the future for their children, their grandchildren, and family members. So, it’s beautiful. It’s beautiful to hear just the communities love for the Station and how it’s walked through seasons with people, whether it’s a joyful season, a difficult time. They’re so grateful for Prayer Circle. I just hear that all the time. They’re so grateful for you, Mark, and the programs that you provide. And yeah, it’s really fun and a lot of them are very rooted in the station. Just a lot of longtime listeners, new listeners too, which is always exciting.
