Taste and see that the Lord is good; blessed is the one who takes refuge in him.

Let us then approach the throne of grace with confidence, so that we may receive mercy and find grace to help us in our time of need.

Yes, my soul, find rest in God;my hope comes from him.

But as for me I watch in hope for the Lord, I wait for God my savior; my God will hear me.

Praise be to the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ. In his great mercy he has given us new birth into a living hope through the resurrection of Jesus Christ from the dead.

For God so loved the world that he gave his one and only son, that whoever believes in him shall not perish but have eternal life.
