For no word from God will ever fail.

'In peace I will lie down and sleep, for you alone, Lord, make me dwell in safety.'

You will keep in perfect peace those whose minds are steadfast, because they trust in you.

But the Lord is with me like a mighty warrior; so my persecutors will stumble and not prevail. They will fail and be thoroughly disgraced; their dishonor will never be forgotten.

Peace I leave with you; my peace I give you. I do not give to you as the world gives. Do not let your hearts be troubled and do not be afraid.

Trust in the Lord with all your heart and lean not on your own understanding; in all your ways submit to him, and he will make your paths straight.

Do not be anxious about anything, but in every situation, by prayer and petition, with thanksgiving, present your requests to God.

For it is by grace you have been saved, through faith—and this is not from yourselves, it is the gift of God—

Do not conform to the pattern of this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind. Then you will be able to test and approve what God’s will is—his good, pleasing and perfect ...

The Lord will fight for you; you need only to be still.”
