The steadfast love of the Lord never ceases; His mercies never come to an end; they are new every morning; great is Your faithfulness.

Many are the plans in a person’s heart, but it is the Lord’s purpose that prevails.

'I have said these things to you, that in me you may have peace. In the world you will have tribulation. But take heart; I have overcome the world.”

Ah, Lord God! It is you who have made the heavens and the earth by your great power and by your outstretched arm! Nothing is too hard for you.

He changes times and seasons; He deposes kings and raises up others. He gives wisdom to the wise and knowledge to the discerning.

Do you not know? Have you not heard? The Lord is the everlasting God, the Creator of the ends of the earth. He will not grow tired or weary, and his understanding no one can fathom.

First of all, then, I urge that supplications, prayers, intercessions, and thanksgivings be made for all people, for kings and all who are in high positions, that we may lead a peaceful and quiet life...

In him we have obtained an inheritance, having been predestined according to the purpose of him who works all things according to the counsel of his will.

How much better to get wisdom than gold! To get understanding is to be chosen rather than silver.

Mightier than the thunder of the great waters, mightier than the breakers of the sea— the Lord on high is mighty.
