Thank you for joining our “14-Day Download of Hope” series.Today I want to talk about the truth of who you are. In Psalm 139:14, David says …
“I praise you because you made me in an amazing and wonderful way.
What you have done is wonderful. I know this very well.” Psalm 139:14 (NCV)
Each of us can say these same words. They are true about us, just like they were true about David. So today, if you’re fighting a silent enemy that’s making you second guess yourself or doubt your worth … take some time to reflect on the truth of who God says you are in his word. Here are a few verses to get you started:
- You are made in God’s image – Genesis 1:27
- You can do all things through Jesus Christ – Philippians 4:13
- You are God’s handiwork created to do good works – Ephesians 2:10
- You are complete in Christ – Colossians 2:10
- You are strong in the Lord – Ephesians 6:10
- You are free from condemnation – Romans 8:1
- You are forgiven – Ephesians 1:7
When I need a reminder of who I am and how God sees me, I listen to Lauren Daigle’s song “You Say” …
You say I am loved when I can’t feel a thing
You say I am strong when I think I am weak
You say I am held when I am falling short
When I don’t belong, oh You say that I am Yours
