- Tap the “Settings” menu item

Question: What if my older device is not compatible with the newest version of the app?
- If you are not able to download or update the KCIS 630 app, verify that your phone is running the newest operating system version allowed by your device. Once you update your device, try downloading or updating the KCIS 630 app again.
- If you are downloading the app for the first time, or unable to update from a previous version of the app, on an older device, you can download an older, compatible version of the app. However, we will no longer be maintaining the previous versions of our app. You may also stream KCIS 630 directly online at www.kcisradio.com/player or through the TuneIn App.
Question: Why does the iOS version have an age restriction of 17+?
Our KCIS 630 app is restricted to ages 17+ at the request of Apple due to the contests we feature in our mobile app – the very same contests you can find on our website. In order to enter contests, you must be part of the KCIS Family, which requires users to be 18 or older to sign-up and enter contests. If you’re under the age of 17, please ask your parents for permission to install our app. Thank you.
Question: Why does this app require so many permissions on my device?
Our app requires a variety of permissions based on the tools that are offered within the app (regardless of whether or not we are currently allowing access to those specific tools). See the list below that explains the reasoning behind each permission.

- Precise location (GPS and network-based): For geo-targeting ads so we can avoid showing ads from businesses/services outside of your device’s region and the currently unused event listings for directions from the phone’s current position to the event location. Currently, our app links out to our mobile site rather than using the in-app calendar tool.
- Approximate location (network-based): Same as “Precise location” – see above
