Wild Summer Nights All Summer Long At The Bravern

BELLEVUE, WASH. (June 16, 2010) – What better way to celebrate the arrival of Summer (finally!) than to sip your favorite beverage as you enjoy live jazz and signature appetizers from Wild Ginger in front of an outdoor fireplace? All that and more begins Thursday, June 24 when The Shops at The Bravern hosts Wild Summer Nights, including live music and appetizers from Wild Ginger from 5:30 to 7:30 every Thursday evening through September 16. And while you're having fun, you'll also be doing good: All ticket proceeds directly benefit Hopelink and the local families they serve.

The Bravern’s music series, courtesy of the Triple Door, kicks off with the James Baumgart Trio on June 24, followed by Das Schwa on July 1 and Dan Rapport on July 8. Tickets are $5 and are sold in advance at the Concierge Desk in Building 1 at The Bravern and at the event, space permitting. Wild Ginger will provide complimentary appetizers for snacking, and guests must be 21 to enter. All performances will take place at the outdoor fireplace off the 110th Avenue Arrival Court. On July 15, the Ty Bailie B3 Trio will perform, followed by Darrius Willrich on July 22, with more artists to be announced.

If the weather does not permit outdoor entertainment, the music, bites and beverages will move into Wild Ginger and will start at 8 pm. Advance ticket purchases may be used for different dates but no refunds are given.

Updated July 6th, 2010

This week's Wild Summer Nights performance not only features the sounds of Dan Rapport but also holds a surprise you won't want to miss! Be sure to bring along a camera to capture all the fun - and of course TwitPic to share the spectacle with friends and family.

Wild Summer Nights benefit music series is held each Thursday evening from 5:30 to 7:30 pm at the 110th Avenue arrival court at The Shops at The Bravern. Proceeds from the weekly series are dedicated to Hopelink's End Summer Hunger campaign. Each summer Hopelink provides food for youngsters in North and East King County who normally receive free and reduced-fee breakfasts and lunches during the school year.

And the weatherman promises sunshine this week to go with those complimentary appetizers from Wild Ginger.

Updated July 8th, 2010

We regret to announce that our "surprise" this evening for Wild Summer Nights is unavoidably delayed. We hope you will still enjoy tonight's performance by Dan Rapport and avail yourself of the complimentary appetizers from Wild Ginger.
