Reconnection Workshops are for armed forces personnel, including active duty, reserve, National Guard, veterans, and their families.  Workshops are open to spouses, significant others, parents, siblings, grandparents, and extended family members.  Licensed and specially trained Red Cross mental health facilitator Dr. Rick Fuhrman will help the group decide what topics to cover. Topics may include Communicating Clearly, Exploring Stress and Trauma, Identifying Depression, Relating to Children, and Working Through Anger.  The workshop is approximately 2 hours in length, is free to military members, veterans and their families, and confidentiality is assured.  Reconnection Workshops are facilitated sessions that focus on skills building to enhance the likelihood of positive reconnections with armed forces personnel and their families following a military deployment.
