Ballet Bellevue’s premier of Handel’s Messiah, the opéra-ballet, is coming to Bellevue’s Theatre at Meydenbauer Center in December 2012!  This unique production is designed to bring ballet and opera together on the same stage as we share God's amazing gift of salvation.  Following the success of two ballet companies on the East Coast, Ballet Bellevue is excited to host the Northwest premier of this extraordinary work featuring original choreography which will highlight the strengths of our company dancers.  This incredible, innovative project will bring people together from our community in their love for the arts while ministering to those who have not yet received Jesus Christ as their Lord and Savior.  As Christian artists, our prayer has always been to use our talent to glorify the Lord.  We are excited about this opportunity to share our passion of ballet and opera combined with our love for the Lord, as we minister through the arts.  Handel’s Messiah is a wonderful score that explains the Gospel from start to finish, and we are amazed to find it accepted as a masterpiece in such a secular environment.
